Paired with one of those thin rug pad sheets, this thing doesn’t budge. I do wish one day that someone will create a foam rug pad that has a built-in non-slip surface, but for now, this does the job well. These tend to move around if you don’t add anything else to them. I used to use rug tape, but my new house has hardwood floors that I don’t want to damage with any sticky tape residue. This works just as well as my other memory foam rug pad too. Maybe even better because I don’t have to tape my rug to the rug pad (which I have to do with my memory foam pad because it slides off of it easily). I flip this blue pad upside down so the patterned side faces the bottom of my rug and holds it in place. Tip Cut the rug pad an inch or two smaller than your rug so you don’t get those raised edges. Makes it easier to vacuum and things don’t get stuck underneath it as easily.

This is by far the best cushion I have ever used. It was extremely easy to install and very lightweight. The new technology is fantastic. I love the feel and the grooves on the bottom will allow any moisture coming from the concrete to evaporate. Why didn’t they think of the is earlier?

I’m a professional contractor that installs all types of flooring. My client ordered this cushion for me to install as part of an entire home remodeling job. This product is the best carpet pad I have ever seen or used in my 28 years doing this work. Finally a true waterproof pad!
